Asmund Vårtun is a Norwegian woodworker located in the small town Alvdal, approximately 300 km north of the capital Oslo. This website features some of his work, especially the canopy bed, his latest piece.
The bed has a traditional fairytale-look, with carved ornaments and is painted in rustique style. Although traditionally designed, the bed has modern facilities. Inside you find a flat screen TV, surround system and you can even watch stars from a digital night heaven.
